Radon Testing

Radon, a known carcinogen, is a colorless, odorless, invisible gas that enters your house through cracks and joints in your foundation. Radon is caused by the natural decay of radioactive elements in the soil and can exist in either an old home or a brand new home.

ESG uses a continuous radon monitor that produces fast results in as little as 48 hours. Whether you have a basement, crawlspace or on a slab, you should have your house tested to determine the concentrations of radon.

Asbestos Inspections

Asbestos is a naturally occurring mineral that is mined from the earth. Asbestos has been used in many building materials due to its excellent physical properties. However, asbestos is a known carcinogen that can cause ailments such as, lung cancer, asbestosis and mesothelioma. Older homes have been known to have floor tiles, pipe insulation, vermiculite insulation and other materials that may contain asbestos.

If left alone, asbestos does not cause any issues. However, if damaged, fibers can be released into the breathing zone and inhaled.
